The Ultimate Self Assembly - Phase One

This first phase sees you getting your full space frame chassis with the option to have either standard or GT, left or right hand drive. Whichever chassis option you choose it comes complete with lowered floor and full powder coating, delivered on a custom design build trolley. All the aluminium panels are then factory fitted and bonded to the chassis by one of our craftsmen to give you both the highest quality of fit and finish and the perfect start for your build journey.

Fully powdered coated space frame chassis -
Powder coated & with lowered floor as standard.
Gen 2 Aluminium panels -
CNC profile cut Aluminium panels and pre folded interior / exterior panels. Louvered bonnet as standard. *Louvered bonnet not available on the GT option currently.
Build trolley -
Ideal to help with your build as they can be easily wheeled in and out of the workshop. Fitted with braked caster wheels it ensures it will keep your Zero chassis secure whilst you build & provides the perfect working height.
Gen 2 Rear Fuel system -
30Ltr Aluminum tank with a fast fill filler neck & integral pump & filter mounts. Ready to be bonded to chassis.
Lowered floor -
With mounting holes pre-drilled for seats, exhaust and diffuser.
Pedals and pedal box -
Ergonomically designed pendulum pedals.
Gen 2 Factory fitted panels -
Fully welded, formed and fitted rear panel, side panels bonded all interior panels fitted. Brake line clips & riv nuts into chassis all fitted, fully assembled scuttle, pre formed bonnet with louvers & bonnet pin & catch holes. *Welded rear panel narrow body only currently.
Fixings -
Bonnet catches, pins, rivets, grommets, nuts & bolts.

The GBS Zero range is available as right hand or left hand drive and as a Standard width or GT (grand tourer /wide body) chassis option, which allows greater access and a more comfortable seating position for the taller/larger driver.

The Zero chassis is a full space frame design, utilising both round and square tubing depending upon load requirements. All brackets and mounts are attached to the chassis including the roll bar. The chassis has a lowered steel floor as standard for both safety and strength. Added to this incredibly strong space frame chassis are the alloy panels, these are factory bonded to the chassis to form a stressed skin, which increases the torsional rigidity and strength of the overall structure giving greater dynamic performance.

The chassis has been designed to give improved ergonomics and a more comfortable driving position along with increased interior space. The zero is available in two chassis options either standard body or GT. The GT gives an extra 80mm in width, without changing the foot print of the car, making it ideal for the taller / larger driver. There is also a large boot area which is perfect for touring. The Zero range is available in both right hand and left hand drive.
