Exciting News: We are supplying ATR Products for the New TOCA Junior Championship....

We are thrilled to announce that we will be supplying a range of ATR products to the newly launched TOCA Junior Championship. This exciting development comes after an extensive testing program, and we are now gearing up for the start of manufacturing in the coming weeks.
Since the Championship's concept was first announced, they have been overwhelmed by the incredible interest from teams and drivers eager to join the grid. It’s truly inspiring to see such a strong appetite for junior racing in the UK, and we're honoured to be part of this journey.

Behind the scenes, everyone has been working tirelessly to finalise the car's design and set up. Last week was the unveiling of the car to prospective teams and drivers at the Mercure Hotel in Daventry.
Now the team will shortly be heading to Donington Park to showcase the car within the British Touring Car Championship paddock. This is a thrilling opportunity, as the public will get their first look at the car and share their reactions. It’s just the beginning of what promises to be an exciting season ahead!
These launches not only mark the countdown to our inaugural race but also set the stage for more exciting announcements in the coming weeks and months. We can't wait to share what’s next! Everyone is always welcome at GBS, last week the Home Secretary James Cleverly & Mark Spencer came to see us....

It’s always nice to welcome guests to the factory, and last week it was the turn of Home Secretary James Cleverly and our local MP Mark Spencer to pop by, along with large swathes of the UK media to see what it is we do here at GBS.

Mark Spencer has been a supporter of GBS for several years joining us at track days and other events and kept a keen eye on our growth. He asked if we would take the time to show Home Secretary James Cleverly, what we do as we are one of the only few UK family owned car manufactures left and the fact that we uniquely manufacture so much of the car in house.

Both Mark and James were kind enough to take some time to chat to the team, learn more about our vision for GBS as a truly British sports car, and see how we’re making our cars and looking as some of the new environmentally technologies we are working on.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the UK GOV for their support within the manufacturing and automotive sectors and we look forward to the continued support from our government to allow GBS to thrive into the future with which ever party may be in power next.

Fun on the track at Donington Park for our GBS Track Day....

The weather was perfect, the Yokohama AO52 tyres were offering crazy grip and we’re lapping and gapping some truly great cars that we also out on circuit. GBS Cars & Coffee event with Yokohama Tyres..... Thank you for joining us!

Big thank you to everyone who joined us last Saturday (15th June) at GBS for our second Cars and Coffee event of the year……. (Eric’s Pizzas will be joining us again later this month at our Friday Night at the Factory event on Friday 28th June)

The GBS and Kit Spares show room was very busy with people and the Kit Spares   was also very busy with sales and enquires. As always the cakes attracted a lot of attention and certainly went down well with not many left along with the unlimited supply of tea and coffee.

Another great thing about our GBS Cars & Coffee events that we love, is that we are able to raise money for our 2 chosen charities which are the Cancer Research UK and The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, we all feel and hope you agree that The Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance is a fantastic service and has helped & will continue to help many people, as well as the Cancer Research UK that is again a fantastic charity that makes a big difference to so many people and their families.

Review from Mr & Mrs Hartley / GBS Factory Tour on 03/02/24:
We were one of the very first to go on the tour.  And what a treat it was too!  This is a bit different to the normal corporate factory tours we’ve done before.  This felt much more authentic and honest.  Not rehearsed nor delivered by a member of staff.  We were taken around by Richard , the director.  So we got to hear first hand how the business started and how the business has grown.  The tour itself was fascinating as you moved around the premises from room to room (which is like a Tardis!) GBS is a really small team, but that’s what makes this whole business so unique and so incredibly special.  When you see the finished masterpieces created here you will be yearning to buy one.  Anyone who wants a Caterham will think again after visiting.  The tour brings the whole production to life and Richard’s passion for what he believes in and ultimately what him and his team creates will leave you feeling you have to buy a car!  Highly recommend this tour for its individuality and Britishness
